Ana Felline was born and raised in Portugal, a small lovely country in the South of Europe (where she also raised her 26 years old son Renato), and worked as Senior Secretary for almost 2 decades (without ever feeling completely happy with her choice career). On the year of 2009, Destiny put her on a plane to Zürich - Switzerland, with a nanny live-in contract in her hands, and she knew that an amazing change on the wheel of her life was about to happen. With her life settled, a marriage in between, and working with a lovely Nanny family with adorable children, she soon began to feel the need to be part of an nanny community and get more involved in the Nanny industry. When searching around and not finding a local based nanny community, or an online nanny group focused on simple informations about the profession, she then created a Facebook private and public group called Nanny’s Guide in Zürich, where she shares articles, local, national and international nanny events, courses, etc, and highlights the positive side of nanny profession. On 2016, during online researches she found and attended the Nannypalooza Conference in Connecticut; found and joined nanny associations, first INA, and then SNA (the Swiss Nanny Association); attended a 0-3 Montessori Assistant Course in Zürich and joined as well the Montessori community in Zürich. 2017 was the year to consolidate national connections more stronger and after attending InNTD in Geneva, organised by the SNA founders Kelly Corstjens and Joana Ribeiro and meeting them personally, Ana was part of the group of the SNA - Swiss nannies attending Nannypalooza in UK last year, and together are working to bring awareness of the nanny profession in Switzerland. This year, 2018, Ana became a volunteer in a Portuguese speaking association based in Zürich, that organizes cultural events, workshops and language courses for new comers and members, where she started a project for children and a base for nannies in Zürich.
